Funding Priorities

The Medica Foundation sets funding priorities in the first quarter of each calendar year. Funding is directed towards programs that demonstrate the potential for measurable improvement in the availability, access and quality of health care in the communities that we serve and that support the Foundation's mission and giving guidelines.

2012 Funding Opportunities

The Medica Foundation has two opportunities to apply for funding in 2012. Letters of Inquiry will be accepted during the identified timelines..

Cycle 1:

• Behavioral Health - Filling the Gaps
• Reducing Innappropriate Emergency Room Utilization, Hospital Admissions & Readmissions

Cycle 2:

• Primary Care and Preventive Health Services for People with Disabilities
• Early Childhood Health
• Organizational Core Mission Support

Timelines/Deadlines

Cycle 1: Letters of Inquiry will be accepted from March 1 - April 6, 2012
Cycle 2: Letters of Inquiry will be accepted from May 1 - May 25, 2012

Application Process

The Medica Foundation has an electronic application process. Letters of Inquiry are only accepted during the identified timelines. Applicants will be notified if a full proposal is requested. The overall process can take between four and six months. Apply now.
